The Libertarian Party of Henry County will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, January 8th at Shane’s Rib Shack in McDonough (Jonesboro Road location). The meeting will begin at 7:30pm.

Please note that the meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of the month due to the holiday.

LPHC to participate at Locust Grove Day

The Libertarian Party of Henry County will have a booth at Locust Grove Day on Saturday, May 26th at Locust Grove City Hall from 9am to 4pm. Locust Grove Day is an annual event that showcases arts and crafts, local businesses and civic organizations. It is also a celebration of our great community.

Also, Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, who represents most of Henry County will be holding a townhall meeting next Monday. All are invited to attend:

WHEN: Monday, April 2, 5:30-7 p.m.
WHERE: Henry County Government Building, 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough

All 3rd Congressional District constituents are welcome to attend and ask questions of their federal representative. Topics will include the Iraq war spending bill, which sets a timetable for withdrawal of troops, and the Democrats’ budget plans, which may call for the biggest tax hike in history.
